Our senior aviation security consultant brings extensive, global experience in aviation cargo and passenger security to our clients. For over a decade, this consultant held a senior management position with a major international airline, responsible for all cargo security matters system-wide. This included conducting security training and audits at cargo and passenger ports, maintaining and updating government procedures, and working with government agencies worldwide, including the TSA and EU.
Prior to this, the consultant served as a Security Executive at a regional airline, conducting security audits, contingency planning, and emergency exercises across the airline’s network. They also provided corporate security and security training, including bomb threat and hijacking procedures, to ground staff and air crew.
Before transitioning to the airline industry, our consultant served with Canada Customs and Border Services for over 17 years, reaching the rank of Acting Superintendent. Their primary focus was on investigations into internal conspiracies within an airport environment, aimed at stopping smuggling by airport and airline employees. This work involved aircraft searches, operating x-ray machines, and utilizing advanced technology for cargo and vehicle inspection. This consultant was also involved in numerous multi-million dollar drug seizures.
Our consultant is an IATA certified Security Trainer, Auditor, and Aircraft Marshaller. They possess comprehensive knowledge of aviation security regulations and best practices. Currently, they provide cargo security advice to our clients and conduct and implement aviation security audits and training. They have also been assigned as the lead security trainer for both cockpit and cabin crews. The consultant is also part of IATA — Cargo Security Working Group, CNS (Cargo Network System) Cargo Security Working Group, AAPA (Association of Asia Pacific Airlines) and TAPA (Transport Asset Protection Association).
